Job description Wireline Logging Operations Manager Job Summary Under broad direction, the Wireline Logging Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing wireline and perforating operations, supervising multiple field crews, and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of services at the wellsite. This role encompasses operational leadership, client liaison, personnel development, performance analysis, regulatory compliance, and strategic execution of services. The manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring service excellence, safety, and continuous improvement, while directly impacting profitability and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Technical Expertise Open Hole Logging: Expert in Triple Combo and Quad Combo tools; deep knowledge of Neutron, Density, Resistivity, and Sonic tool including Cross Dipole tool principles and log interpretation. Cased Hole Operations: Skilled in interpretation of CBL-VDL logs and operation of RBT, CBT, PCE-10K and PCE-15K; extensive experience with various perforation methods. Sampling Tools: Proficient in downhole sampling tools, basic interpretation of sample analysis, and understanding of fluid sampling parameters. Special Services: Hands-on experience with advanced services including Mechanical Coring, VSP (Vertical Seismic Profiling), Logging While Fishing, and Tool Pusher Logging (PCL). Production Logging: Strong working knowledge of Production Logging Tools (PLT) and Reservoir Saturation Tools (RST) for production performance analysis. QA/QC & Troubleshooting: Thorough knowledge in QA/QC of all wireline-acquired logs; strong troubleshooting ability during real-time operations; proficient in identifying root causes of tool or data failures and implementing corrective actions. Operational Leadership Supervise and coordinate multiple Wireline and Perforating crews executing daily wellsite services (onshore and offshore). Plan and manage deployment of personnel, equipment, and fleet to ensure flawless job execution. Lead wireline logging teams, QC field data, and ensure data acceptance by the client. Liaise regularly with clients to manage field operations and address operational needs or issues. Drive the implementation of new wireline technologies and tools at client sites. Personnel Management Hire, train, discipline, and terminate crew members as needed. Serve as an assessor to evaluate crew competencies based on field experience. Act as the Role Readiness Champion responsible for training, competencies, and career development of both new hires and experienced employees. Use competency data to improve job performance metrics and guide team development. Performance & Quality Management Use real-time and historical performance data to identify and implement operational improvements. Perform root cause analyses on failures or inefficiencies and devise corrective strategies. Drive improvements in operational efficiency to achieve >99% success rates. Coordinate and support the Correction, Prevention, and Improvement (CPI) processes for the Product Service Line (PSL). Monitor and investigate irregular/unplanned events and execute follow-up actions to prevent recurrence. Client & Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular interface and service feedback loops. Ensure operational execution meets or exceeds client expectations for quality and timeliness. Contribute to value creation by ensuring high levels of service delivery, customer satisfaction, and business continuity. Regulatory & Safety Compliance Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and company standards. Oversee transportation and handling of explosives and radioactive sources in accordance with government regulations. Actively promote and utilize safety tools such as Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Hazard Observation Cards (HOC). Participate in investigations of accidents, incidents, or near misses and develop mitigation plans. Equipment & Asset Oversight Ensure operational readiness of wireline and perforating equipment,
