Job description Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to understand their career goals, strengths, and challenges. Provide guidance on course selection, study plans, and career pathways based on individual needs and interests. Own the centre admission target and work towards fulfilling it under the guidance of the Centre Incharge. Maintain accurate records of student progress, counseling sessions, and achievements. Maintain updated records in CRM system. Prepare reports and documentation as required by the University. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree in any subject. Proven experience in academic counseling, preferably in an educational or coaching environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills. Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with students and parents. Knowledge of academic programs, career pathways, and educational resources. Traits and Abilities: Empathetic Approach: Ability to understand and empathize with students' concerns and needs. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff effectively. Problem-Solving: Capability to identify issues and provide effective solutions or referrals. Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple students' needs and maintain records.
