Spring Boot Microservices Senior Developer

Job description Job Title: Spring Boot Microservices Senior Developer Location: On-site (Pune/Hyderabad) Experience: 6 - 10 years Employment Type: Full-time About the Role: Were building a new microservices-based platform to replace our existing monolithic application. We're looking for a Senior Spring Boot Developer who is passionate about writing clean, efficient code and contributing to the design and implementation of scalable microservices. Youll work closely with the architect and team members to develop core backend services and ensure the system is robust, maintainable, and future-ready. What You’ll Do : Develop and maintain backend services using Spring Boot and Java. Collaborate with the architecture team to design and implement RESTful microservices. Write clean, scalable, and well-tested code. Participate in code reviews, refactoring, and performance tuning. Work with RabbitMQ or other messaging systems for asynchronous communication. Integrate services with PostgreSQL and other data sources. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and deployment automation. Follow Agile/Scrum processes and participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack. Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams. What We’re Looking For: 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java (8+) and Spring Boot. Solid understanding of microservices architecture. Experience with REST APIs, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate. Good understanding of event-driven architectures and messaging tools (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.). Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. Familiar with Docker, Git, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Comfortable in Agile/Scrum teams. Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns to build clean, maintainable, and testable code. Nice to Have Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
