Senior Manager/AGM Purchase & Vender Development For New Manufacturing

Job description We have urgent hiring for Senior Manager/AGM Purchase & Vender Development for new Manufacturing division. Key Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new suppliers for first-time product manufacturing in India through foreign OEMs, in alignment with the 'Make in India' initiative. Candidate will be responsible for Identify and develop new suppliers, components, raw materials, and services. Candidate will responsible for support localization and indigenization of imported parts. Conduct supplier audits and capability assessments. Evaluate and onboard vendors based on technical, financial, and compliance parameters. Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and value engineering. Benchmark suppliers and pricing to ensure competitiveness. Negotiate commercial terms and long-term agreements with vendors. Ensure suppliers meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with QA/QC for vendor approvals and compliance audits. Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams for new product development (NPD). Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies. Implement supplier development programs and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering. 15+years of experience in vendor development/purchase/procurement in manufacturing/engineering sector. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Gurgaon/NCR. Skills Required: Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Knowledge of sourcing strategies and vendor qualification processes. Familiarity with ERP / SAP systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
