Site Engineer - Civil

Job description Key Responsibilities: 1. Execution of Work: Implement construction plans as per drawings and the Project Managers instructions. Ensure work is executed in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines. 2. Coordination and Supervision: Supervise day-to-day site activities, including RCC, masonry, plastering, finishing, etc. Coordinate labor, subcontractors, and material vendors for smooth site operations. 3. Quality Assurance & Safety: Monitor construction quality and ensure adherence to QA/QC protocols. Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. 4. Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track site progress and maintain daily work records. Prepare and submit progress reports and BOQ tracking. 5. Problem Solving & Communication: Identify and resolve on-site issues quickly, liaising with project stakeholders. Communicate regularly with Project Manager, consultants, and vendors to ensure alignment. 6. Resource Management: Ensure timely procurement and usage of materials and equipment with minimal wastage. Maintain accurate inventory logs for civil works. Skills & Requirements: B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering. 3–7 years’ experience in residential, commercial, or high-rise building projects. Strong understanding of construction methods, IS codes, drawings, and QA/QC standards. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and construction management tools. Strong documentation and billing skills with BOQ familiarity. Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel to project locations as required. Working Conditions: Requires working at construction sites, including outdoor conditions and physical site environments. May involve extended hours, weekends, or holidays depending on project needs.
