Accounts Payable Specialist

Job description Role & responsibilities Educate the supplier on the process and requirements to have invoices approved first time right. Raise a purchase order in prescribed systems, seek approval and notify supplier Issue purchase order to the supplier that includes all terms & conditions. Receive supplier invoice and cross-verify invoice with supplier proposal, ensure proof is provided for services delivered, and approve / reject invoice Follow-up with procurement / finance to ensure approved invoices are scheduled for payment. Should be able to resolve supplier/customer queries related to Payment/billing efficiently Basic IT software such as Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint. (Working knowledge of Salesforce would be great) Managing collection & overdue summary Chasing customer for overdue payments Account Receivables & reconciliation with Payables Working with Finance steam to resolve reconciliation related queries Managing escalations, complete RCA.
