Finance Manager

Job description Role & responsibilities: 1. Financial Accounting, Reporting and Audit: Manage day-to-day accounting operations in accordance with Indian GAAP and applicable standards. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and ledger management. Periodic Internal, Statutory and other audits and coordination with the auditors. 2. Taxation (Direct and Indirect) : Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc. Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors for timely tax filings, assessments, and audits. 3. Financial Planning & Analysis: Assist the CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Support decision-making with financial analysis and performance reporting. Develop dashboards and reports for financial and operational KPIs. 4. Cross-Functional Coordination, Internal Controls & Compliance: Act as a FACT coordinator and liaise with other functions, ensuring recording of all relevant transactions and support the business and cross-departmental initiatives. Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial controls and processes. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Keep track of and updated on changing environment and provisions related to accounting standards and guidelines, tax laws, internal controls and compliances and implement necessary changes to relevant processes. QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED Education: CA, CMA, MBA (Finance) or equivalent finance qualification. Experience: Around 5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in the services sector. Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory compliance. Experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g. SAP, ERP Next Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.). Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability. Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and senior management.
