Financial Controller

Job description Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning & Analysis Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans Analyze financial performance, provide actionable insights, and highlight variances Drive cost optimization strategies across departments Accounting & Reporting Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure timely closing of books Ensure accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure statutory compliance with tax, GST, TDS, and regulatory filings Controls & Compliance Establish robust internal controls, audit trails, and risk management processes Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities Maintain compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) Cash Flow & Treasury Monitor daily cash flow and working capital requirements Manage banking relationships, loan negotiations, and fund allocations Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and manage the finance and accounts team Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement Preferred candidate profile Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory; MBA Finance is a plus Experience: 712 years in financial leadership roles; preference for candidates with experience in FMCG, D2C, or manufacturing Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Tally, SAP, or similar) Proficiency in financial modeling, MIS, Excel, and data analytics High integrity, strategic thinking, and operational excellence mindset Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Role: Financial Controller Industry Type: Beauty & Personal Care Department: Finance & Accounting Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Finance Education PG: CA in Any Specialization Key Skills Skills highlighted with ‘‘ are preferred keyskills Financial AnalysisFinance Control Financial Management
