Tooling and Fixture Design Engineer

Job description Role & Responsibilities Designing and fabrication of Fixtures (Fabrication and Welding Fixtures for wagon building) Preparation of Machining Fixtures, Assembly Fixtures. Preparation of necessary gauges. To work hands on with design engineering and production team to establish the process To work with the quality team and clients team to main compliance on periodic fixture calibration and organize necessary approvals from railway authorities and clients inspectors. Preferred candidate profile Must have the knowledge advanced autocad, 3D Modeling. Knowledge of CREO will be preferred. Knowledge of designing of Fixtures, Lifting Tackles, Positioners, Hydraulic fixtures, Weld Adaptors, hand Tools, Pallets, jigs fixture design etc will be preferred. Qualifications and Experience: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical (Essential) 5-8 years of experience in tooling and fixture design, preferably in heavy manufacturing industries such as wagon/Coach manufacturing, automotive, or railway sectors. Proficiency in SolidWorks, 3D Modeling AutoCAD, CATIA, CREO, FEA and other engineering tools. Strong understanding of welding processes, machining operations, and assembly techniques.
