Job description ">Data Science Practice Leader 12-15 Years Noida Data Science Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Head to lead our Data Science, Data Engineering, and Data Governance initiatives. This is a strategic leadership role that will define the vision, build capabilities, and drive execution for data-driven innovation across clients and internal teams. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional delivery teams to transform data into a core enterprise asset. Key Responsibilities: Practice Leadership & Strategy: Define and execute the strategic vision for the Data Science, Data Engineering, and Data Governance practices. Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across data functions. Drive thought leadership in areas of AI/ML, data lake architecture, and data governance frameworks. Client Engagement & Delivery Oversight: Act as a trusted advisor to clients in developing scalable and compliant data solutions. Lead solutioning and pre-sales activities, including RFP responses, proposals, and PoCs. Oversee successful project delivery across multiple engagements, ensuring quality, timelines, and business impact. Innovation & Capability Building: Foster innovation in AI/ML, MLOps, real-time analytics, data lakehouse, and big data ecosystems. Establish accelerators, reusable assets, frameworks, and best practices. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to co-create data-driven products and platforms. Must-Have Skills & Experience: 12+ years of progressive experience in data-related roles with at least 4+ years in leadership or practice head capacity. Deep understanding of: o Data Science & Machine Learning (Python, ML frameworks, model lifecycle) o Data Engineering (Spark, PySpark, Kafka, Hadoop, Airflow, SQL, ETL frameworks)o Data Governance & MDM (Data quality, metadata management, lineage tools, regulatory compliance) o Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in cloud-native data services o Modern Data Architectures - Data Lakes, Lakehouse, Delta Lake, MPP DBs Strong knowledge of privacy and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) Proven ability to engage C-level stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives. Strong experience in delivery management, stakeholder engagement, team building, and capability development.
