Job description Job Description The Hostel Warden (Male/Female) is responsible for the overall management, discipline, and welfare of students residing in the campus hostel. The role requires maintaining a safe, clean, and conducive living environment while ensuring adherence to hostel rules and institutional policies. Qualification Bachelor s degree in any discipline (Master s preferred). Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the hostel, including cleanliness, discipline, and maintenance. Ensure safety, security, and well-being of hostel residents at all times. Maintain records of student allotments, attendance, late entries, and leave permissions. Address student grievances and provide guidance and support on personal or academic concerns. Coordinate with security, housekeeping, maintenance, and medical teams to manage hostel needs. Enforce hostel rules and report any disciplinary issues to the campus administration. Monitor and manage hostel inventory, including furniture, appliances, and supplies. Organize and supervise hostel events, meetings, and orientation programs. Ensure timely reporting of any incidents or emergencies and follow escalation protocols. Maintain good communication with parents/guardians when required.
