Chartered Accountant-Deputy Manager

Job description Job Title: Chartered Accountant Experience: 2-4 Years Location: Hinjewadi Department: Finance Reports to: Lead Accounts, Operations Audit Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified and proactive Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-4 years of experience to manage plant-level accounting, internal controls, and GST compliance. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with shared service teams and cross-functional stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Internal Controls & Compliance Monitor and strengthen internal financial controls at the plant level. Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and internal audit requirements. Accounting & Book Closure Handle day-to-day accounting of plant transactions including GRN, consumption, provisions, and asset capitalization. Ensure timely month-end and year-end book closures with accuracy. GST & Statutory Compliance Monitor GST compliance including input credit, reverse charge, and outward liability. Coordinate with consultants and internal teams for GST returns and reconciliations. Operational Finance Support resolution of day-to-day operational issues relating to payments, inventory, vendor accounts, etc. Coordinate with the Shared Services Centre (SSC) for smooth transaction processing and issue resolution. MIS & Reporting Prepare and review plant-level financial reports and provide insights on variances. Support budgeting and cost control activities. Requirements: Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualified through ICAI 24 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in manufacturing or plant finance Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST laws, and internal controls Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) Proficient in Excel and financial reporting Good communication and coordination skills Preferred Attributes: Experience working in a plant or factory set-up Exposure to audits and internal control frameworks Problem-solving mindset and eye for process improvement Role: Chartered Accountant (CA) Industry Type: Auto Components Department: Finance & Accounting Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Accounting & Taxation Education UG: Any Graduate Key Skills Skills highlighted with ‘‘ are preferred keyskills Internal ControlAccountingGstAuditing
