Job description Position: Research Trainee/officer (Organic Chemistry) Experience: 15 Years Education: M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry Key Responsibilities: Carry out the synthesis and purification of organic compounds as per project requirements. Perform routine analytical testing, including NMR, Mass Spectrometry, IR, GC, and HPLC, to evaluate compound structure, purity, and performance. Interpret results from various analytical techniques such as NMR, IR, Mass, GC, and HPLC with strong foundational knowledge in organic chemistry and name reactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve chemical processes and workflows. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all experiments, observations, and outcomes in laboratory notebooks or digital systems. Participate actively in project meetings, sharing updates and research findings with team members. Stay informed on current trends, tools, and developments in organic chemistry and related fields. Comply with all lab safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Desired Candidate Profile: Solid understanding of organic chemistry concepts and reaction mechanisms. Proficiency in interpreting data from analytical instruments (NMR, IR, Mass, GC, HPLC). Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward learning and collaboration.
