Job description Role & responsibilities Market Development: Identify and explore new international markets and business opportunities. Export Strategy: Develop and implement effective export strategies aligned with company objectives. Compliance: Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, including customs laws, export control laws, and country-specific requirements. Documentation: Oversee the preparation and verification of export documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and letters of credit. Logistics Coordination: Manage transportation, freight forwarding, and warehousing operations for timely and cost-effective deliveries. Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and agents. Budgeting and Forecasting: Monitor export budgets, sales forecasts, and performance metrics. Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks related to global shipping, currency fluctuations, and political/economic instability in foreign markets. Team Collaboration: Work closely with production, finance, legal, and sales teams to ensure a smooth export process. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on export performance, market trends, and business development activities. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 3 - 5 years in export/import management or international sales. Strong understanding of global trade regulations, Incoterms, export documentation, and customs procedures. Strong leadership and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
