Sr. Engineer / Engineer - PMC(Structure & Finishing)

Job description 1. Construction Supervision: Oversee day-to-day construction activities on the site, including monitoring progress, quality of work and adherence to construction plans and specifications. Coordinate with contractors & subcontractors engineers to ensure efficient and timely project execution. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with GFC drawings, safety regulations and quality standards. 2. Project Coordination: Work closely with the project manager & engineers to coordinate project activities and resolve any issues that may arise during construction. Communicate project updates, challenges, and progress to the project team and management to facilitate decision-making and problem-solving. Ensure that construction activities align with project timelines, constraints, and quality requirements. Raise the RFI if any mismatch /missing information in GFC drawings. 3. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to maintain high construction standards and ensure that workmanship meets project specifications. Conduct quality checks, inspections, and tests to identify and address any defects, deviations, or non-compliance with project requirements. Address quality issues promptly and work with the team to implement corrective actions to maintain project quality. 4. Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a safe working environment on the construction site by implementing safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines. Conduct regular safety inspections and safety training for site workers to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Respond to safety incidents, emergencies, and near-misses promptly and take corrective actions to mitigate risks. 5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of construction activities, daily progress reports, site observations, and quality control inspections. To maintain the hindrance, register at site. Prepare and submit reports on project status, issues, and milestones to project management and stakeholders. Document changes, variations and deviations from the original construction plans and specifications for review and approval.
