Mainframe Developer

Job description Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support system debugging. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application integration. Prepare technical documentation and assist in the development of user manuals. Generate reports and data analysis using MS Excel. Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS/DB2. Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting. Understanding of mainframe architecture and batch processing. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mainframe application issues. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in Mainframe development. Experience working in Pune location is mandatory.
