Consulting Sales Executive - Test Rigs & Automation (Export Focus)

Job description We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Consulting Sales Executive to lead business development for custom-built test rigs and industrial automation systems catering to automotive, railway, and transport industries. The role requires consultative selling, engagement with OEMs and R&D institutions, and a strong focus on generating export orders. Role & responsibilities Drive B2B sales of test rigs, special purpose machines (SPMs), and automation systems for applications in automotive, railway, and transport sectors. Identify and convert domestic and international opportunities through consultative engagement. Interact with automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers and global consultants. Prepare techno-commercial proposals aligned with client specifications and regulatory standards. Collaborate with internal engineering teams to customize solutions. Lead participation in trade fairs, virtual expos, and export-focused B2B platforms. Manage export documentation including INCOTERMS, Letters of Credit (LC), and logistics coordination. Maintain CRM records and deliver on monthly and quarterly sales targets. Preferred candidate profile Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering. 3-8 years of experience in technical or capital equipment sales, with exposure to test rigs or industrial automation. Hands-on experience in export sales and international business development is mandatory. Strong technical understanding with the ability to present engineered solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer engagement skills. Willingness to travel extensively, both within India and overseas.
