About the Role We are seeking a talented and driven Software Engineer to join our growing technology team and contribute to our digital transformation initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to build scalable software solutions within a rapidly expanding manufacturing company, reporting directly to the Chief Research and Technology Officer (CRTO). You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications that support various business operations, leveraging modern development practices, cloud technologies, and integration capabilities. This is a mid-senior level role requiring a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, offering the chance to make a significant impact by building technology solutions that drive efficiency and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable web applications using Next.js, React, Node.js, and TypeScript. Database Architecture: Design and optimize MySQL database schemas, write efficient queries, and ensure data integrity and performance across applications. Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on AWS cloud platform, utilizing various AWS services for scalability and reliability. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Optimize & Maintain: Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve existing systems for reliability and scalability. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed applications and systems. Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and propose new solutions to enhance our technology stack and business processes. About You We are looking for a self-starter with a strong technical foundation and passion for building software solutions that solve real business problems. You are comfortable working independently, taking ownership of projects, and collaborating effectively in a remote-first environment. Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience with a focus on building web applications and system integrations Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript with minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience Proven experience with Next.js framework for full-stack React applications including server-side rendering and API routes Solid experience with Node.js for backend development and server-side JavaScript Strong experience with MySQL databases, including database design, optimization, and writing efficient SQL queries Experience with AWS cloud services and hosting applications on AWS infrastructure Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and third-party API integrations Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, version control (Git), and agile methodologies Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and deliver projects on time Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Desirable Skills: Experience with additional AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudFront) Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline
