Job description Job Title: Social Media Specialist Job Location: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Yelahanka, Bengaluru. Job Type: Full-time Job Description: We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager to administer our social media accounts and promote our brand. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with the overall marketing objectives of MAHE Bengaluru and increases brand awareness. • Create and curate engaging text, image, video content for social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. • Manage and maintain the company's social media accounts and ensure they align with the brand's voice and image. • Manage and grow our social media community by engaging with users and responding to comments and messages. • Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies as needed to increase engagement and reach. • Collaborate with other departments and teams to plan and execute campaigns and events. • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools and best practices and incorporate them into our social media strategies. Requirements: • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role. • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. • Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. • Ability to multitask and manage multiple social media accounts. • Familiarity with SEO and SEM best practices. • Bachelor's / Masters degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. • Passion for social media and keeping up-to-date with industry trends. • Experience in education sector is a plus Remuneration: We offer a competitive compensation package for the right candidate, which includes a base salary, performance-based bonus, health insurance, and other benefits.
