Assistant Manager - Expat Tax

Job description Work youll do As an Assistant Manager in our GES Tax team youll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams, You will: Prepare foreign tax calculations as a part of income-tax return calculations. Prepare and review income tax calculations and tax returns of expatriates Guiding team on computation of foreign tax calculations, foreign assets reporting, disclosure of assets and liabilities in the tax return forms Reviewing various tax and social compliance work prepared by the team such as departure formalities, PAN application, Certificate of Coverage, withholding tax calculation, eTDS return, PF calculation, Stock calculation, tax gross up calculation, tax equalization etc. Leading and managing the team Taking trainings including topics related to tax treaty Assistance in assessment proceedings, preparation of submissions & appeal documents - Review and submit documents related to assessments & appeals Giving inputs /suggestions on process and technology improvements Preparing various management reports Qualifications C.A 1-3 year plus experience in Taxation Technology certification courses Strong Technical Knowledge Well versed with IT skills - proficient in use of technology Analytical thinking & clarity of Concepts Effective communication (oral & written) and presentation skills Good Management Skill (Time & Cost) Peoples person Persistent and persuasive Role: Tax Analyst Industry Type: Management Consulting Department: Finance & Accounting Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Accounting & Taxation Education PG: CA in CA Key Skills Skills highlighted with ‘‘ are preferred keyskills Individual TaxationDirect TaxExpat Tax
