The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of home automation products and IoT technologies, coupled with excellent communication and collaboration skills to drive product development and success. Location - Bangalore Senior iOS Developer - (React Native) Responsibilities: Architectural Leadership: Define the technical architecture and design patterns for our flagship iOS applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, high performance, and the ability to support rich and engaging user interfaces. Native iOS Development: Lead the development of complex features and core functionalities using Swift/Objective-C, adhering to best practices and ensuring code quality, with a focus on delivering sophisticated UI components and interactions. Cross-Platform Strategy: Drive the strategic use of React Native for developing reusable modules and components across our iOS and Android platforms, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience with beautifully crafted interfaces. IoT Integration Expertise: Oversee the integration of sophisticated IoT functionalities, including seamless video streaming (e.g., Agora) and robust connectivity with diverse protocols such as Zigbee, Wi-Fi, BLE, SigMesh, LoRa, and Cellular, ensuring these features are presented through intuitive and visually appealing UIs. Team Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the iOS development team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement in both functionality and user interface design. Full Development Lifecycle: Take ownership of the entire iOS development lifecycle, from initial design and development through rigorous testing, efficient deployment, and successful App Store publishing, with a strong focus on the visual and interactive aspects of the applications. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with backend, frontend, and hardware engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of end-to-end IoT solutions with cohesive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces. Technology Evangelism: Stay at the forefront of the latest advancements in iOS development, mobile technologies, and the IoT landscape, proactively identifying and advocating for the adoption of best-in-class tools and practices, including those related to UI development and design. Required Skills: Extensive Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in iOS application development using Swift and/or Objective-C, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex and visually impressive user interfaces. Deep iOS Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of the iOS SDK, advanced frameworks (e.g., SwiftUI, Combine), and architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture), with a deep appreciation for user interface development best practices. React Native Proficiency: Proven experience in leveraging React Native for building and integrating cross-platform modules within native iOS applications, with a focus on delivering high-quality and visually consistent UIs. IoT Domain Knowledge: A strong understanding of the principles and challenges involved in developing applications for IoT ecosystems, with an awareness of how to present complex data and controls through intuitive user interfaces. API & Networking Mastery: Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, data persistence strategies, and advanced networking concepts (including HTTP, MQTT, and potentially CoAP), and how these interact with the user interface layer.
