Job description Key Responsibilities: Plant Management: Strategic leadership, operational planning, resource optimization, budget oversight, regulatory compliance. Production & Operations: Efficiently manage manufacturing through planning, process optimization, KPI monitoring, maintenance, quality assurance, and to achieve operational excellence. Safety: Foster a safety-first culture, environmental and ensure regulatory compliance. Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop/manage unit budgets (capital/operating), analyze costs, implement cost-saving initiatives. Talent Development, Training & Management: Manage and mentor personnel, set expectations, provide feedback, identify training needs, ensure communication. Maintain continuous learning for self and department Reporting & Analytics: Develop/track KPIs, analyze data for insights, prepare reports for management. Management Information Systems (MIS): Support MIS with job and department data. Competitive Analysis & Differentiation: Analyze competitors, develop differentiation strategies. Continuous Improvement: Drive improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma), implement best practices, foster innovation. Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion.
