Creo Mechanical Design Engineer(Immediate To 30 Days Joiners) -Chennai

Job description Role & responsibilities Responsibilities: • Develop concept and detail design of the Sheet metal components/Weldments. • Focus on design optimization of Sheetmetal and structural weldments. • Clarifying design requirements with all relevant stakeholders • Align concept and detailed design with interfacing modules and submodules. • Obtaining, modifying, and optimizing CAD geometries to match the requirements. • Deliver 3D, 2D and design BoM with right quality. • Iterating all the above until we converge on an optimal design. • Drive design and design changes through our Change Management system Qualifications: • Master's / Bachelor's in mechanical engineering / Structural Engineering / Aerospace/ similar fields • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in design & development of dynamic mechanical systems, CAD (CREO) & PDM (PDM Link) • Engineering Change Management (ECM) • Knowledge in EN and ISO standards related to mechanical component design Systems. Competencies: • Expert in Product design methodologies (Understanding of FMEA requirements, cost + quality awareness) • Expert in Sheetmetal component design and detailing • Strong hands-on CAD skills in Sheet metal, Welding, Material selection & tolerance stack up. • Good understanding of Design for Manufacturing/ Assembly/ Service concepts • Good in GD&T, Welding, ISO standards of Materials, Grades & Tolerances • Efficiently communicate with the Tech Lead, Project Managers & all other stake holders • Like to work with complex engineering problems and have a creative approach to new challenges. • Be process oriented and have a structured way of working.
