Window Server Administrator

Job description L1 Windows & Active Directory Administrator (3-4 Years) Responsibilities: Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor Windows Server uptime and critical services (IIS, DHCP, DNS, AD, etc.). Perform basic health checks for Windows servers, Active Directory, and M365 services. Ensure timely reboot of servers based on maintenance schedules. User & Access Management: Manage user accounts, password resets, folder access, drive mappings, and group memberships. Assign and modify permissions through Group Policy and Active Directory. Assist in mailbox management and delegation of rights. Backup & Patch Management: Monitor backup alerts and escalate failures to relevant teams. Deploy Windows patches and security updates as per the patching schedule. Generate daily/weekly reports on backup, patching, and system health. Incident Handling & Reporting: Log, categorize, and escalate server-related incidents to L2/L3 teams. Perform initial troubleshooting on common issues related to AD, DNS, and File Shares. Maintain an asset inventory of Windows servers and Active Directory components.
