Job description Patient Care: Conduct routine gynecological examinations and screenings. Diagnose and treat various reproductive health issues, including but not limited to infertility, menstrual disorders, and sexually transmitted infections. Provide prenatal and postnatal care to pregnant women, including monitoring fetal development and managing complications. Perform surgical procedures such as cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and laparoscopies. Obstetrics: Manage and oversee pregnancies, ensuring the well-being of both the mother and the baby. Monitor and interpret prenatal tests, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic measures. Attend deliveries, providing medical intervention as needed and ensuring a safe and healthy birth. Gynecology: Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions, such as endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and ovarian cysts. Perform surgeries and procedures related to gynecological issues, including minimally invasive techniques. Counsel and educate patients on reproductive health, family planning, and contraceptive options. Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Consult and coordinate care with other medical specialties when necessary. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, examination results, and treatment plans. Adhere to medical recordkeeping and documentation standards. Patient Education: Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and lifestyle choices that promote women's health. Address patients' concerns and provide information on treatment options in a clear and empathetic manner.
