Senior Developer - Integrations

Job description We are looking for a Senior Developer for our team whose main responsibility will be to maintain existing application integrations as well as validating specifications for new integrations and implementing them. About the Team / Business Unit We are an agile development and operations team, working under a Scrum / ScrumBan framework e.g. Scrum ceremonies, principles, roles, handling of different requirements that come in from various sources, as well as suggestions from the team. With this team, you will have the opportunity to suggest improvements or make smaller tweaks, although our most important job is to keep operations / the applications up and running at all times. Our team maintain and develop a few different kinds of applications. Some team members are supporting web applications, others mobile applications, and some are supporting legacy systems. In our team, you will have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of interesting tasks and engage in discussions for improvements and good solutions for new and existing setups. About You: As part of our team, your main responsibility will be maintaining the current application integrations, as well as validating specifications for new integrations and implementing them. You will also be required to learn about the database model for one of our largest inhouse developed applications which has a user base of almost 6000 end-users. You will also have the possibility to pick items from the backlog, if you see an area of opportunity for working on a task that could benefit the business. You will be required to discuss integration solutions independently with product champions or stakeholders, as well as being able to implement these solutions and explain the solutions to fellow developers.
