Design & Estimation Specialist

Job description Role & responsibilities Prepare Bill of Quantity (BOQ) based on drawings and requirements received from the parent company. Develop part fabrication drawings aligned with project requirements. Coordinate with clients for design approvals and fabrication drawings for Proto type productions. Prepare Raw material as per drawings/BOQ & asked Standard, Material Test Certificate verification can calculate wastage. Ensure smooth final production of prototypes and facilitate client audits for mass productions. Manage documentation including MDCC (Manufacturing, Dispatch, Clearance Certificate) compliance. Liaise with manufacturing and sourcing teams to ensure timely delivery and quality standards. Communicate effectively with client teams to finalize designs, drawings, and dispatch plans Preferred candidate profile Diploma/ Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. 3-5 years of relevant experience in design and engineering, preferably in renewable energy or structural design. Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of STAAD Pro is an advantage. Understanding of Steel structural, Sheet, Plates, Round bar, material grades, fabrication and HoT DiP Galvinsation process . Familiarity with preparing BOQ, fabrication drawings, and prototype development. Good oral & written communication and client coordination skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
