Industrial Engineer

Job description Job Purpose: To support continuous improvement initiatives by conducting work studies, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving cost optimization across fabrication and production processes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Time Studies and Method Studies to evaluate and improve existing workflows. Identify bottlenecks in processes and implement corrective actions for their elimination. Lead initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity across shop floor operations. Monitor and enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and resource utilization. Perform in-house fabrication cost calculations to aid in accurate job costing and budgeting. Calculate Incentive as per Incentive Schemes. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Planning, Projects, Welding, and Maintenance to identify areas for operational improvement. Support deployment of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) initiatives. Participate in data collection, analysis, and reporting for key productivity and efficiency metrics. Demonstrate a high level of learning agility, acquiring knowledge through observation and interaction on the shop floor.
