Responsibility also includes handling Amazon RDS for SQL server database Work cooperatively with other engineering resources to maintain and revise technical documentation. Should be able to manage and perform standard maintenance, monitoring, and tuning of numerous SQL production database instances. Has worked and knowledge in 2016 and 2019 Install and configure SQL 2016 and 2019 Tune and troubleshoot SQL 2016, 2019 database issues Set up backup and recovery policies and jobs. Use appropriate tuning methodology to resolve database performance issues. Support 2012/2014/2016/2019 installations and upgrades. Flexible, adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers and management. Work closely with various Infrastructure and Support teams across global. Present DDL/DML changes successfully to high concurrency databases while preserving uptime and efficiency. Knowledge on windows server environment. Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and troubleshooting. In-depth knowledge of database internals and data structures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
