Industrial Engineer

Job description Responsibilities: 1. Analyze and evaluate existing production processes to identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, productivity, and quality. 2. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives, such as layout optimization, workflow redesign, and work method enhancements. 3. Utilize time and motion studies, data analysis, and statistical tools to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, and Quality Assurance, to implement process changes and monitor their effectiveness. 5. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation. 6. Conduct capacity planning and production line balancing to ensure optimal resource utilization and minimize cycle times. 7. Collaborate with the procurement team to assess and optimize material flow and inventory management processes. 8. Identify and implement automation and technology solutions to streamline operations and improve productivity. 9. Train and provide guidance to production staff on new processes, equipment operation, and best practices. 10. Monitor and analyze production data and KPIs to measure process performance and identify areas for improvement. 11. Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in industrial engineering. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. 2. Proven experience as an Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing environment. 3. Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles, methodologies, and tools. 4. Proficient in using statistical analysis software and process simulation tools. 5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. 7. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents. 8. Strong project management and organizational skills. 9. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. 10. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. 11. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and material flow optimization is desirable. 12. Proficiency in using CAD/CAM software is a plus.
