Bridge Engineer

Job description Roles and Responsibilities Supervise and manage bridge construction activities to ensure alignment with approved designs and technical specifications. Conduct regular site inspections, structural evaluations, and implement quality control measures throughout construction. Monitor construction timelines, track progress, and manage resource allocation to ensure on-time project delivery. Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and internal project teams to facilitate smooth execution. Oversee proper implementation of construction techniques for foundations, substructures, and superstructures. Perform safety audits and risk assessments to uphold high standards of workplace safety on-site. Review and validate structural calculations, technical drawings, and materials for compliance and accuracy. Demonstrate successful supervision and quality control on at least one completed or ongoing highway/expressway bridge project. Identify and resolve construction challenges, propose design adjustments, and address site-specific issues proactively. Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports and regulatory compliance records. Preferred candidate profile Total Work Experience: Minimum 15 years of overall experience. Relevant Experience: At least 5 years in the related field with proven supervision experience in: Geological mapping Slope stability assessments Geological, geophysical, and geotechnical investigations Construction of highway slopes, bridge foundations, river training structures, and retaining structures Experience should include involvement in at least one completed or ongoing infrastructure project related to the above.
