Job Description & Scope
Job description Role: Must have skills 1-5 to 7 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 and above). 2-Strong proficiency in T-SQL, including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and dynamic SQL. 3-Solid understanding of data warehousing (DW) concepts such as star/snowflake schema, dimension/fact tables, and slowly changing dimensions (SCDs). 4-Good knowledge of query performance tuning and execution plan analysis. 5-Experience in data validation, quality checks, and audit mechanisms. Responsibilities: 1-Design, develop, and maintain complex T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions. 2-Work on performance tuning and optimization of existing queries and procedures. 3-Develop, implement, and maintain robust ETL processes using T-SQL or SSIS (preferred). 4-Collaborate with data analysts, application developers, and business stakeholders to design and implement effective data solutions. 5-Support and maintain data warehouse architecture, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. 6-Understand and follow best practices in database design, normalization, indexing, and data modeling. 7-Participate in code reviews, database deployments, and production support as needed. 8-Provide basic SQL Server DBA support including monitoring, backups, and index maintenance. 9-Generate business reports and dashboards using Power BI (good to have). Soft Skills: 1-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 2-Excellent communication and documentation skills. 3-Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. 4-Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
