Job description Job Title: Cyber Security Officer - Project Implementation & BAU Support Location: Mauritius Client: Leading Banking Institution (Confidential) Experience Level: 3 to 5 Years Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite About the Role: We are hiring a Cyber Security Officer on behalf of one of our prestigious banking clients in Mauritius. This role focuses on supporting ongoing security operations (BAU) as well as contributing to key cybersecurity project implementations across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on with Windows infrastructure, Active Directory (AD), and virtualization platforms like VMware, and has basic project delivery experience in an enterprise or regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: - Support cybersecurity operations including access control, threat response, and system monitoring as part of BAU activities - Assist in planning and executing security-related projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory and business requirements - Administer and maintain Windows servers, Active Directory, and VMware environments with security best practices - Collaborate with IT and risk teams to strengthen compliance and implement security enhancements - Prepare and update documentation including security procedures, audit logs, and change controls - Participate in vulnerability assessments and remediation planning - Provide escalation support and troubleshooting for security incidents - Monitor and enforce internal security policies in line with industry standards and frameworks Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline - 3 to 5 years of experience in: - Windows server administration - VMware environments - Active Directory (AD) management - Minimum 2 years of hands-on project management or project support experience - Certified in any two of the following: -- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) -- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) -- CompTIA Security+ -- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) -- CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of banking compliance and security frameworks (ISO 27001, PCI DSS) - Experience working in a regulated or financial services environment - Strong communication and documentation skills - Ability to handle multi-tasking in a dynamic and time-sensitive environment What We Offer: - Opportunity to work on high-impact cybersecurity initiatives in the banking sector - Exposure to enterprise-scale systems and best-in-class security practices - A supportive and growth-oriented work environment - Competitive remuneration based on experience and qualifications How to Apply: Interested candidates may send their updated resume and certifications to: talentacquisition@astura.ai Please mention - "Cyber Security Officer - Mauritius" in the subject line.
