Job description We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Data and Information Architect with expertise in WEB technologies such as WebLogic, Apache, IIS, Tomcat, JBoss, OpenJDK, Wildfly etc and experience managing WEB hosting solutions on AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and a passion for designing innovative solutions. As a key member of our centralized WEB Services team at GE HealthCare, you will architect effective WEB hosting solutions to meet business requirements, ensure IT operational excellence, and collaborate with infrastructure, risk & security, and cloud services teams. Responsibilities: Architect and design scalable, reliable, and secure WEB platform hosting solutions. Lead WEB technology strategy, automated deployments, and innovation initiatives. Manage and support various WEB services projects (upgrades, migrations, vulnerability management, compliance) in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Manage resolution of security vulnerabilities of WEB platforms in collaboration with the enterprise vulnerability management team. Monitor and optimize WEB solution performance for high availability and scalability. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for web platforms. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (eg, GDPR, HIPAA) for web solutions. Participate in project discussions with application teams for deploying and maintaining effective WEB solutions. Act as a single point of contact for IT application teams for their WEB support needs. Manage customer escalations and critical operations issues. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to WEB operations teams. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance existing systems. Document architectural decisions and technical specifications for future reference. Develop and enforce best practices and standards for web hosting and development within the organization. Conduct regular security assessments and implement robust security measures to protect web applications and data. Lead efforts in automating infrastructure provisioning and management to improve efficiency and consistency. Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the web architecture. Skills and Qualifications: bachelors degree in computer science or STEM majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with substantive technical experience. Proven experience as a software architect or similar senior technical role. Proficiency in WEB technologies (WEB Logic, Apache, IIS, Tomcat, JBoss, OpenJDK, Wildfly) and managing these technologies on AWS and Azure hosting platforms. Knowledge of containerized solutions such as Docker, Kubernetes and microservices architecture. Understanding of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Go etc Experience in Infrastructure SSL Certificate Upload & Configuration. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (eg, Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (eg, Git, Jenkins, Terraform). Experience with monitoring and logging tools (eg, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Good understanding and hands on experience of monitoring tools on Cloud platform like AWS CloudWatch and Azure monitor services to monitor Web applications. Desired Characteristics: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
