Job description Role & responsibilities Job Description Responsible for the efficient management of all inventory and stock control processes. Ensuring optimal inventory levels, proper storage, timely issuance and receipt of materials, and maintaining accurate records. Ensure proper documentation, physical stock accuracy, and timely material availability to support uninterrupted production Job Responsibilities Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and maintain stock accuracy. Track stock levels and intimate to reorder materials as & when required Receiving, Issuance & Dispatch: Ensure accurate receipt of incoming goods and materials. Issue materials to production as per requisitions. Ensure timely delivery of raw materials to the production department and finished goods to customers. Maintain records of all material movements. Storage & Handling: Ensure proper storage conditions for all materials in accordance with safety and quality standards. Ensure proper tagging, labelling, and storage of materials. Manage loading/unloading and safe storage practices. Organize the warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval. Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock registers, GRNs, issue slips, etc. Generate daily/weekly/monthly stock reports and consumption reports. Stock Audits & Reconciliation: Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile variances. Team Supervision: Train & monitor Store Staff for compliance with SOPs and safety regulations. Coordination: Liaise with the Purchase, Production, and Quality teams to plan material requirements. Communicate any shortages or issues proactively to relevant departments. Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store area. Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse. Skills Required Strong organizational and leadership skills. Good knowledge of inventory management systems.
