Job description JOB DESCRIPTION I. JOB DETAILS Job Title Attending Consultant Reporting Supervisor HOD II. JOB PURPOSE Provide timely & best emergency care to all attending the Emergency III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Core Responsibilities Responsibilities and Key Tasks To handle all types of Emergency cases coming to Emergency room. To document all findings and to maintain clinical records of all cases. To do emergency procedures as and when required. To give medical coverage to the patients while in transportation in road /air ambulance. To answer the medical queries of the patients or their attendants as and when required. To give medical coverage to the important events like Republic day parade/ independence day parade, whichever is obliged by Max Health Care. To have complete orientation of QMS and EMS system of Hospital. To have complete Awareness about Disaster Management Program (DMP) of the hospital. To Comply with the service quality Process, environmental & occupational issues & policies of the respective area To Comply with patient safety policy To ensure safe utilization of equipment and proper waste disposal system. IV. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Measurable Deliverables Handling of all Emergencies / ICU and surgical ward patients under the guidance of respective Consultants. Ensure 100% updation and maintenance of Medical Record Documents of Emergency / Ward/ MLC/ OP/ IP patients Clear communication with patients, consultants and hospital staff No major negative patient feedback V. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Qualifications MEM/ DNB/ MD Emergency Medicine Experience 0-5 years Technical Skills Able to do E.T. intubations as and when needed. Sound I.V. cannulation skills Sound knowledge of MLC handling Able to handle all types of emergency cases. Good Communication skills with patients as well as their kin. Behavioural Skills Gentle, kind & sympathetic Positive attitude High interpersonal skills High stress tolerance. High Integrity Language Skills English Hindi VI.
