Network Support Engineer

Job description Job description Job Description of Network Support: Network Design & Planning: Design and implement new network solutions or improve the efficiency of current networks. Plan network architecture and configurations. Develop network diagrams and documentation. Network Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance to identify problems and optimize systems. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues. Perform network upgrades and system enhancements. Installation & Configuration: Configure firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices. Install and configure wireless access points. Ensure the integration of various hardware devices. Security Management: Implement network security policies, protocols, and procedures. Experience with network security practices, including firewalls, encryption, and VPNs. Monitor network for security breaches or intrusions. Respond to security incidents and assist in disaster recovery processes. Support: Ensure smooth network operation and security compliance. Provide technical support and training to staff as needed. Qualification: - • Bachelors degree in Computer or Diploma in a related field. • Professional certifications such as CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), or equivalent. Experience: - • 3-5 years of experience in network engineering or related fields. • Experience with virtualized networking (SDN, NFV).
