Solution Architect

Job description 1. Architectural Design: Develop architectural documentation such as solution blueprints, high-level designs, and integration diagrams. Lead the design of the systems architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability. Ensure the architecture aligns with the companys strategic goals and future vision for public transit technologies. 2. Technology Strategy: Select the appropriate technology stack and tools to meet both functional and non-functional requirements, considering performance, cost, and long-term sustainability. 3. System Integration: Work closely with teams to design and implement the integration of the AFC system with various third-party systems (e.g., payment gateways, backend services, cloud infrastructure). 4. API Design & Management: Define standards for APIs to ensure easy integration with external systems, such as mobile applications, ticketing systems, and payment providers. 5. Security & Compliance: Ensure that the AFC system meets the highest standards of data security, particularly for payment information, and complies with industry regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR). 6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the technical lead during project planning and discussions, ensuring the design meets customer and business needs. 7. Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide development teams through best practices in software development and architectural principles. 8. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure the AFC system can handle high volumes of transactions without compromise. 9. Documentation & Quality Assurance: Maintain detailed architecture documentation, including design patterns, data flow, and integration points. Ensure the implementation follows best practices and quality standards. 10. Research & Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in technology and propose innovative solutions to enhance the AFC system.
