Job description Job Summary: GLA University is seeking a skilled and motivated .NET/jQuery Software Developer to support the development and maintenance of its university-specific web applications, especially customized CRM modules. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ASP.NET and jQuery technologies with a solid understanding of university systems, user interface design, backend logic, and data processing. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET (C#/.NET) and jQuery. Build and enhance CRM-related modules such as lead management, contact tracking, workflows, and reporting tailored to university operations. Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to manage institutional data. Collaborate with the UI/UX team to build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces. Develop front-end features using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX. Integrate and manage third-party APIs and services as required. Ensure code quality by writing clean, modular, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews, functional testing, and deployment activities. Provide ongoing support, bug fixes, and enhancements for existing systems. Technical Skills Required: Strong experience in ASP.NET Web Forms / MVC, C#, and jQuery. Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX. Proficiency with SQL Server, including writing complex queries and stored procedures. Familiarity with Entity Framework or ADO.NET. Experience developing or supporting CRM systems or modules. Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving abilities. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 512 years of hands-on development experience in .NET and jQuery. Prior experience in the education sector or university-based software applications will be an added advantage.
