BIM Mechanical Modeler

Job description Responsibilities: 1. Develop Detailed BIM Models For HVAC Systems, Including Ductwork, Piping, And Equipment. And Plumbing, Fire-Fighting, And PHE (Public Health Engineering) Systems. 2. Collaborate With Architects And Other Engineering Disciplines To Integrate HVAC / PHE / Fire-Fighting Designs Into The Overall BIM Project Model. 3. Ensure Accuracy And Completeness Of HVAC Models / PHE / Fire-Fighting Models And Associated Documentation. 4. Perform Clash Detection And Resolve Clashes Related To HVAC / PHE / Fire-Fighting Elements. 5. Data Extraction, Utilizing The BIM Model To Extract Data For Quantity Takeoffs. 6. Generate Construction Documents, Shop Drawing And Support The Creation Of As-Built Documentation. 7. Collaborate With Project Teams To Meet Project Deliverables And Deadlines. 8. Stay Updated On Industry Trends And Advancements In BIM Technology And Methodologies Related To HVAC / PHE / Fire-Fighting Systems. 9. Follow Company/Project BIM Standards, Templates, And Best Practices. 10. Assist In Quality Control Processes And Provide Guidance To Junior Team Members, If Applicable. Skillset Required: 1. Proficiency In BIM Software, Such As Revit, Navisworks, With Expertise In HVAC System Modeling / PHE / Fire-Fighting System Modeling And Detailing. 2. Strong Understanding Of HVAC / Plumbing, Fire-Fighting, And PHE System Design Principles And Codes. 3. Knowledge Of BIM Standards And Best Practices In The HVAC / PHE / Fire-Fighting Discipline. 4. Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Multidisciplinary Teams. 5. Detail-Oriented With A Focus On Accuracy And Quality Control.
