Job description Role Overview:We are looking for a Technical Lead Quadient with proven expertise in upgrading, installing, and configuring Quadient applications across Linux-based environments (preferably SUSE Linux v15 SP6). The ideal candidate will drive technical implementations across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures, ensuring seamless delivery, system stability, and high performance.Key Responsibilities: Lead the installation, setup, and configuration of Quadient applications, including Inspire, Automation, and Interactive on Linux servers. Analyse, plan, and execute Quadient application upgrades and migrations. Conduct impact assessments, system readiness checks, and ensure compatibility before deployments. Manage deployments across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. Collaborate closely with developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to meet both functional and non-functional requirements. Prepare and maintain documentation for installation, upgrades, rollback plans, and disaster recovery procedures. Perform testing and validation of patches, hotfixes, and upgrades in staging environments. Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and post-upgrade phases. Ensure compliance with internal IT policies, security guidelines, and industry standards. Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to users and internal support teams. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with Quadient application administration, upgrades, and configuration. Strong hands-on expertise in Quadient Inspire, Automation, and Interactive. In-depth experience with Linux environments, ideally SUSE Linux v15 SP6. Knowledge of application compatibility, performance tuning, and system optimisation. Experience working in multi-environment (on-prem/cloud/hybrid) infrastructure. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation. Preferred Skills: Proficiency in Linux shell scripting or automation tools for deployment tasks. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Previous experience in training or mentoring technical teams. Understanding of IT compliance and security standards.
