Job description Role & responsibilities * Lead the infrastructure design strategy in collaboration with the master planning and architectural teams. * Prepare conceptual and detailed designs for all civil infrastructure components road networks, drainage systems, water supply, sewerage, solid waste management, and utilities. * Coordinate with other consultants (traffic, electrical, environmental, etc.) for integrated infrastructure planning. * Prepare and review design reports, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications. * Ensure design compliance with relevant codes, development authority guidelines, and sustainability norms. * Engage in site assessments, feasibility studies, and stakeholder consultations during the planning phase. * Provide inputs to the phasing strategy, construction methodology, and cost estimation. * Review and approve contractor/vendor submissions during the design development phase. Preferred candidate profile * Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering + Masters degree in Infrastructure/ Structural Design * Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure design, preferably for townships, SEZs, or large urban development projects. * Strong knowledge of relevant codes (CPHEEO, IRC, IS Codes, MoHUA guidelines). * Proficiency in civil design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and MS Project. * Excellent understanding of urban infrastructure systems and sustainability principles. * Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills. * Prior experience working with design consultancy firms on public/private sector master planning projects. * Ability to work across disciplines and lead multi-stakeholder discussions. * Familiarity with Smart City and AMRUT guidelines is a plus.
