Quality Engineer

Job description Job Title: Quality Engineer Department: Quality Control Reports To: Quality Manager Job Responsibilities: Control and monitor all Quality Control (Q.C.) activities, including involvement with customers and vendors. Maintain coordination and communication with QC, Production, and Vendor teams. Oversee receiving inspection and in-house Finished Goods (FG) inspection. Allocate inspectors at vendor sites based on priority provided by Production and Planning departments. Inspect export finished goods and spare parts; coordinate with 3rd party inspectors and handle documentation. Analyze sales return material (D3 system work) and investigate reasons for return. Analyze service orders (RWO) and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution. Conduct pre-dispatch inspections and handle deviation reports from the FG store. Handle TCGC inspection requirements (e.g., for Railway POs) as per standards. Participate partially in test lab certifications. Verify Railway and Export purchase orders as required. Review improvement actions, verify their effectiveness, and inspect new samples for approval. Inspect trading items for quality compliance. Carry out daily QC-related routine activities.
