Assistant Manager - IT (Desktop Team)

Job description Dear Candidate, We have a requirement for Assistant Manager, Desktop (OMG) department. Must to have - Graduation / 3 years Diploma (Polytech) Good communication to manage Incident calls Team Management experience Location: Bangalore Job time: Rotational Shift Technical Competencies: 1. Good knowledge of computer hardware & peripherals. 2. Troubleshooting hardware and software issues. 3. Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software (UEFI & remote) 4. Patching of operating systems & DLP troubleshooting 5. Antivirus installation and troubleshooting 6. Basic Troubleshooting networking and connection issues (DHCP / DNS) 7. Good verbal & written communication skills 8. Knowledge of imaging and creation of Golden master images. 9. Basic Troubleshooting Windows domain networking 10. Basic troubleshooting of printers & media players (scala /xibo) 11. Knowledge of any of the ticketing tool and workflow. Preferred certification in MCSE / MCP or any desktop, VDI certifications. Managerial : 1. Managing the support teams and contractors with the daily workload 2. Managing shift roaster and availability, leaves, vacations, and emergencies 3. Handle and solve customer escalations over emails, calls 4. Attend incident calls, problem management calls, contribute to preparing RCAs 5. Create and implement SIPs and achieve efficiency & cost reduction in OMG. 6. Assign and manage SPOCs and Shift leads to handle new projects. 7. Manage Knowledge repository KB article 8. Create and share weekly / monthly operations PPTs, reports & Dashboards.
