Job description As an Associate - Buying & Merchandising, you will play a critical role in contributing to the success of the buying and merchandising operations. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities for product assortment. 2. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms and secure favorable pricing. 3. Analyze sales data to make informed decisions on inventory levels and product promotions. 4. Coordinate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that drive product visibility and sales. 5. Monitor competitor activities and market changes to adjust buying strategies accordingly. 6. Ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory. 7. Implement merchandising displays and layouts to enhance the shopping experience. 8. Assess customer feedback and preferences to refine product offerings. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. 1-4 years of experience in buying, merchandising, or retail operations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Effective communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. Detail-oriented and organized approach to managing multiple tasks.
