Job description Job Opportunity: Network Security (L2) Pune / Mumbai Location: Pune / Mumbai Experience: 3+ Years (Cisco Security) Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s / Engineering in Computer Science or Electronics Certifications: Mandatory: CCNA Preferred: CCNP Security or equivalent hands-on experience Role Summary: We are looking for a skilled L2 Network Security Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Cisco security technologies. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth technical expertise, sound troubleshooting abilities, and the drive to work in a dynamic, security-focused environment. Technical Skills: Proficient in Cisco ASA, FTD, FMC Hands-on experience with Cisco Routers (ISR, ASR) Strong understanding of OSPF, iBGP, eBGP Deep knowledge of firewall configurations, failover scenarios, multi-context mode Expertise in VPN technologies: Site-to-Site VPN (IKEv1 & v2), DMVPN, SSL VPN, GRE tunnels Exposure to Cisco ISE (NAC solutions) Working knowledge of Cisco WSA, ESA Familiar with Port Security, STP, VTP, SNMP, and Syslog Soft Skills: Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities Effective communication skills for interaction with cross-functional teams Good documentation habits and attention to detail Other Responsibilities: Perform daily operational tasks and checklists Analyze security events and escalate incidents as needed Correlate suspicious logs with other data center or application events If you’re passionate about network security and meet the criteria, we’d love to hear from you.
