Job description Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities) Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that effectively communicate key performance indicators and business trends. Connect to various data sources, including databases, data warehouses, cloud services, and spreadsheets. Develop and implement robust data models within Power BI, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance. Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using Power Query (M language) and other relevant tools. Write and optimize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) queries to create calculated measures, columns, and tables. Excellent SQL skills, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions. Ensure data accuracy and consistency through data validation and quality checks. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and data sources. Document technical specifications, data flows, and report designs. Mandatory skills Microsoft Power BI Desired/ Secondary skills Good to have experience with SAP BW/HANA database, cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP). Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., SAP AC, Tableau). Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
