IPD Billing Executive

Job description Key Responsibilities: Billing Generation and Processing:Prepare and process bills for in-patient services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hospital policies. Patient Interaction and Support:Provide assistance to patients and their families regarding their bills, payment options, and any billing-related concerns. Insurance Claim Management:Process and submit insurance claims, follow up on claim statuses, and resolve any claim rejections. Payment Collection and Reconciliation:Receive and process payments, reconcile financial records, and ensure timely collection of outstanding amounts. Reporting and Analysis:Generate reports on billing performance, outstanding payments, and other relevant financial metrics for the hospital's finance department. Compliance and Adherence:Adhere to all relevant billing and insurance regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures. Discrepancy Resolution:Promptly address and resolve any billing discrepancies or errors. Customer Service:Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and insurance companies, fostering positive relationships. Knowledge of IPD Services:Possess a good understanding of various in-patient procedures, services, and their associated charges. Working with TPAs and other agencies:Liaise with Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and other relevant agencies for billing and claim processing.
