IBDP- Economics Teacher

Job description Job Description: We are looking for a qualified and experienced IBDP Economics Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate should have a strong command over Economics subject content, a deep understanding of the IBDP curriculum, and the ability to engage and challenge senior school learners in a globally minded classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Teach IBDP Economics (SL and HL) to Grades 11 and 12 Design and deliver curriculum-aligned, engaging lesson plans Guide students through Internal Assessments and Extended Essays in Economics Track student progress, conduct assessments, and maintain academic records Prepare students for IBDP examinations Collaborate with the IBDP team and contribute to planning and academic documentation Participate in school events, parent meetings, and IBDP professional development Candidate Profile: Masters/Bachelors degree in Economics B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification (IB certification preferred) Minimum 4 years of senior school teaching experience, with at least 12 years in IBDP (preferred) Excellent command over written and spoken English Strong classroom management and digital teaching skills Committed to international-mindedness and holistic education Preferred Skills: Experience with IB documentation and assessment criteria Student-centered teaching approach Familiarity with TOK and CAS integration in Economics Willingness to mentor and support learners beyond the classroom Interested candidates are invited to apply with their updated CV and a brief cover letter @ hr.intl@greenwoodhigh.edu.in Role: Economics Teacher Industry Type: Education / Training Department: Teaching & Training Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Subject / Specialization Teacher Education UG: B.A in Economics PG: M.A in Economics Key Skills Skills highlighted with ‘‘ are preferred keyskills EconomicsIbdp IGCSEIB
