Lab Technician (Microbiology)

Job description Collect samples for the microbiology department. Process samples, including blood culture, urine culture, fluid culture, and antibiotic sensitivity testing. Proficient with automatic machines such as BACT/ALERT and VITEK. Properly discard samples and prepare media. Report to the microbiologist and manage various documents in the microbiology lab.
